When Ian McKellen and Trevor Nunn first worked together more than a quarter century ago at the Royal Shakespeare Company, they vowed that one day they would collaborate on KING LEAR. Beginning Thursday, Sep 6 they are doing just that and more, pairing the tragic tale of Lear with Chekhov's masterful account of unrequited love and ambition, THE SEAGULL.
